Wild Rice Chicken Supreme - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (6 oz.) pkg. original long grain and wild rice
    1/4 c. margarine
    1/3 c. chopped onion
    1/3 c. flour
    1 tsp. salt
    dash of pepper
    1 c. half and half
    1 c. chicken broth
    2 c. cubed, cooked chicken
    1/3 c. diced pimento
    1/3 c. chopped parsley
    1/4 c. chopped, slivered almonds
Preparation
    Cook rice according to package.
    Melt butter.
    Add onion and cook until tender.
    Stir in flour, salt and pepper.
    Gradually stir in half and half and broth.
    Cook; stir constantly until thickened.
    Stir in chicken, pimento, parsley, almonds and cooked rice.
    Pour in greased 2-quart casserole.
    Bake, uncovered at 400\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
