Raisin Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. scalded milk
    1/4 c. butter or margarine
    2 pkg. yeast
    1 egg
    1/3 c. brown sugar
    1/4 c. warm water
    1/4 tsp. nutmeg
    2 tsp. cinnamon
    1 1/4 tsp. salt
    4 c. flour
    1 1/2 c. raisins, plumped in hot water
Preparation
    Dissolve yeast in warm water.
    Scald milk and butter; cool to lukewarm.
    Pour over sugar to dissolve it.
    Add egg and dry ingredients.
    Mix in drained raisins.
    Let rise once.
    Second time shape into 2 loaves.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
