Spoon Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. yellow corn meal
    1/2 tsp. salt
    4 eggs, beaten
    2 c. boiling water
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1 c. sweet milk
Preparation
    Stir corn meal into boiling water for 1 minute; remove from heat.
    Add butter; beat well.
    Add beaten eggs; beat well.
    Beat in milk and mix all ingredients together thoroughly.
    Pour into hot buttered 3-quart Pyrex dish and bake, uncovered, in a preheated 400\u00b0 oven for about 40 minutes.
