Swedish Slaw - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large cabbage, shredded
    1 large onion, diced
    1 tsp. turmeric
    1 tsp. salt
    3/4 c. vinegar
    3/4 c. sugar
    1 tsp. mustard seed
Preparation
    Heat vinegar and sugar to boiling point.
    Don't boil! Pour over cabbage and toss.
