Louisiana Beans And Rice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. raw rice
    2 Tbsp. olive oil
    1 green pepper, minced
    2 ribs celery, chopped
    1/8 tsp. garlic powder
    2 Tbsp. margarine
    2 c. chicken broth
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 bay leaf, crushed
    1 can red kidney beans, drained
Preparation
    Fry rice in hot oil until rice is a golden color.
    Saute pepper, celery, onion and garlic powder in margarine. Stir into rice. Add chicken broth, salt, bay leaf and beans.
    Put a piece of wax paper on top, then cover with a lid.
    Bake in preheated oven at 325\u00b0 for 45 minutes. Fluff before serving.
