Bread Pudding - cooking recipe

1 c. applesauce
1 c. raisins
2 c. skim milk
1/2 c. brown sugar
1 (16 oz.) loaf light white bread
2 tsp. cinnamon
2 egg whites
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
Spray a 9 x 9 x 2-inch baking pan with nonstick cooking spray.
Cut bread into 1/2-inch cubes and toss with raisins and cinnamon in a large bowl.
Beat together milk, applesauce, egg whites, sugar and vanilla.
Pour mixture over bread cubes and let stand for 25 minutes.
Pour mixture into prepared pan and bake for 35 to 40 minutes or until knife inserted comes out clean.
Remove from oven and serve warm.
Yields 10 servings.
