Strawberry Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 qt. strawberries, cleaned and hulled
1 1/2 c. sugar
1/4 c. cornstarch
1/8 tsp. salt
1 1/4 c. cold water
1 Tbsp. lemon juice
few drops red food coloring
Preparation

Combine sugar, cornstarch and salt.
Gradually add cold water. Blend and cook until clear, not more than 10 minutes.
Stir occasionally.
Blend in lemon juice and a few drops of red food coloring.
Pour glaze over strawberries and gently blend.
Serve in a baked pie shell.
Cover with Cool Whip.
