Chicken Marengo - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 halved chicken breasts
    1 c. fresh mushrooms, sliced
    2 Tbsp. chopped parsley
    1/4 tsp. thyme
    1 beef bouillon cube (yes, beef not chicken)
    1 c. hot water
    1 (12 oz.) can Hunt's tomato paste
    1/4 c. or more dry sherry
    1/4 c. or more sweet sherry
    1 large onion
Preparation
    Sprinkle chicken with Lawry's salt and pepper; brown in oil in large frying pan or electric frypan.
    Remove from pan.
    Chop onion; brown in butter in same pan.
    Add mushrooms.
    Add a dash more Lawry's, pepper and garlic powder.
    Remove from pan.
    Melt bouillon in hot water in another pan.
    Add tomato paste, thyme, parsley and wine; mix well.
    Add onion and mushrooms.
    Put chicken back in pan; pour sauce over.
    Cover; cook at low temperature for 45 minutes (220\u00b0 on electric frypan).
    Serve over plain white rice.
