Fruit Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 eggs
    1 c. Crisco
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. molasses
    2 c. hot water (cherry juice can be substituted)
    5 c. flour
    2 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. cloves
    1 tsp. nutmeg
    all kinds of fruit and nuts
Preparation
    Over low heat simmer raisins, dates, dried fruits, cherries, hot water and cherry juice.
    Beat eggs, add Crisco, sugar, molasses, dry ingredients and then add the fruit and water ingredients.
    Bake at 250\u00b0 for 2 hours.
