Apple Custard Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 eggs, beaten
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. ground cinnamon
2 c. applesauce
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1/2 c. milk
1 unbaked 9-inch pastry shell
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
Preparation

Combine the first 7 ingredients; stir well.
Pour into pastry shell; sprinkle with nutmeg.
Bake at 450\u00b0 for 15 minutes.
Reduce heat to 350\u00b0 and bake 45 minutes, or until set.
Cool on a wire rack.
Makes one 9-inch pie.
