Pickled Beets - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (No. 303) can small whole beets
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 c. vinegar
    1 stick cinnamon
Preparation
    Drain beets, reserving liquid.
    Add water to make one cup. Combine beet juice, sugar, vinegar and cinnamon.
    Bring to a boil. Pour hot liquid over beets.
    Cover and let stand several hours or overnight.
    Makes 6 servings.
