Pistachio Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 (16 oz.) cans crushed pineapple
    2 c. miniature marshmallows
    1 c. broken pecan pieces
    12 maraschino cherries, halved
    1 (9 oz.) container Cool Whip
    Jell-O instant pistachio pudding mix
    chopped apple (if desired)
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients together except the pudding mix.
    Sprinkle it on last and blend thoroughly.
    Chill.
