Ruth'S Chess Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 lb. butter or margarine
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1 Tbsp. vinegar
    1 1/2 Tbsp. cornmeal
    3 eggs
    vanilla flavoring
Preparation
    Sift meal and sugar together.
    Melt butter and remove from heat.
    Cool slightly.
    Add cornmeal, sugar, vinegar, lightly beaten eggs and vanilla.
    Pour into unbaked pie shell.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 until set, about 30 to 40 minutes.
