Easy Black Beans And Yellow Rice(No Fat) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. water
    1 c. long grain white rice
    1/2 tsp. ground turmeric
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1/4 c. chopped celery
    1/4 c. chopped green pepper
    1 (15 oz.) can black beans, drained
    1 (14 1/2 oz.) can whole tomatoes, undrained and chopped
    1 tsp. sugar
    3/4 tsp. dried Italian seasoning
    1/4 tsp. garlic powder
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1/8 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. hot sauce
Preparation
    Rice:
    Combine water, rice and turmeric in a saucepan.
    Bring to a boil. Cover, reduce heat and simmer 20 minutes.
    Remove from heat.
    Let stand 5 minutes or until liquid is absorbed.
