Ingredients

1/4 lb. butter (1 stick)
3/4 c. sugar
1 sq. unsweetened chocolate, melted
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
1 baked pie shell
whipped cream or Cool Whip
slivered almonds
Preparation

Using electric mixer cream butter and sugar; add melted chocolate and
vanilla.
Add eggs one at a time, beating for 2 minutes after
each.
Pour into pie shell and chill at least 2 hours.
Top
with
whipped\tcream
and
sprinkle with slivered almonds or other nuts just before serving.\tServes 8.
