Layered Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 head lettuce
    1/2 c. sliced onion
    1 c. celery
    1 (10 oz.) frozen peas
    1 sliced green pepper
    2 c. mayonnaise
    2 tsp. sugar
    1/2 c. grated Cheddar or American cheese
    bacon bits
    hard-boiled eggs
Preparation
    Layer vegetables.
    Mix mayonnaise and sugar.
    Dab on top. Layer grated Cheddar or American cheese, bacon bits and eggs. Cover with Saran Wrap overnight.
