Ingredients

1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
3 3/4 c. sugar
1 c. butter
6 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. buttermilk
2 uncooked pie shells
Preparation

Combine flour, salt and sugar; set aside.
Melt the butter. Beat the eggs just a little; add to butter.
Add vanilla and buttermilk, stirring with a spoon or fork.
Pour into uncooked pie shells.
Bake in a 375\u00b0 oven for 45 minutes.
