Angel Biscuits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 c. plain flour, sifted
    3 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. salt
    5 tsp. sugar
    2 c. buttermilk
    1 pkg. yeast
    2 Tbsp. warm water
    1 c. shortening
Preparation
    Dissolve yeast in warm water.
    Sift together all dry ingredients; cut in shortening.
    Add yeast and buttermilk to dry ingredients. Knead dough enough to hold together. Roll dough 1/2 or 1/4-inch thick; cut with biscuit cutter.
    Place on lightly greased sheet; let rise for 1 hour. Bake at 450\u00b0 for 10 to 15 minutes or until golden brown.
