Clam Chowder - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 stick butter
    1/2 c. flour
    1/2 gal. milk
    1/2 c. finely chopped celery (leave some of the leaves on)
    1/2 c. onions, finely chopped
    1 (6 oz.) can clams, finely chopped
    1 Tbsp. onion salt
Preparation
    Use very large, microwavable container.
    Make roux from 1 stick butter and 1/2 cup flour.
    Cook in microwave on High, about 2 minutes.
    Stir until it is smooth.
    Add roux mixture to clam chowder and place on lower than Medium (microwaves vary, this would be about 4 on a Litton).
    Cook in microwave about 1 1/2 hours.
