Chewy Brownie Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. firmly packed light brown sugar
    1 Tbsp. water
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 eggs
    2/3 c. Crisco shortening
    1 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
    1/3 c. unsweetened baking cocoa
    1/4 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips (12 oz. pkg.)
Preparation
    Heat oven to 375\u00b0.
    Combine Crisco, brown sugar, water and vanilla in large mixing bowl.
    Beat at medium speed of electric mixture.
    Beat eggs into creamed mixture.
    Combine flour, cocoa, baking soda and salt.
    Mix into creamed mixture at low speed until just blended.
    Stir in chocolate chips.
    Drop rounded measuring tablespoons 2 inches apart onto ungreased baking sheet.
    Bake for 7 to 9 minutes or until cookies are set.
    Cookies will appear soft and moist.
    Do not overbake.
    Cool for 2 minutes.
    Makes 3 dozen cookies.
