Fresh Apple Muffins - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. flour
3 tsp. baking powder
1/2 c. sugar
1 egg, slightly beaten
1 c. milk
1/4 c. melted butter
1 c. diced apples
1 to 2 tsp. cinnamon
Preparation

Mix flour, baking powder, sugar and cinnamon in a large bowl. Add egg, milk and butter, stirring only enough to dampen the flour.
Add the apples.
Stir only enough to blend (batter should not be smooth).
Spoon into muffin tins (use paper cups).
Fill each about 2/3 full.
Preheat oven to 375\u00b0.
Bake 20 to 25 minutes or until golden.
Serves 12.
