Carrot Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. sugar
1/2 c. oil
1 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. soda
1/4 tsp. salt
1 c. grated carrots
2 eggs
1/2 c. chopped nuts (optional)
Preparation

Beat sugar and oil; add flour, baking powder, cinnamon, soda and salt.
Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
Stir in carrots and nuts.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 to 50 minutes in a greased 9 x 5 x 3-inch loaf pan.
Yields 8 servings.
