Patio Chicken - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 envelope onion soup
    3/4 c. rice
    1 fryer chicken
    1 can cream of chicken soup
    pepper to taste
    1 can water
    1 can mushrooms
    1/8 c. chopped pimiento
    salt to taste
Preparation
    Spread dry onion soup mix evenly on bottom of baking dish. Cover with raw rice.
    Arrange chicken pieces over rice.
    Combine soup and water; pour over chicken.
    Scatter mushrooms and pimiento over top.
    Season with pepper and salt.
    Cover and bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 1/2 to 2 hours.
    Serves 6.
