Prize Winning Prune Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter or margarine
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    1 c. cooked prunes, chopped
    1 c. buttermilk
    2 1/2 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking soda, allspice and cinnamon
    1/2 c. nuts (prefer black walnuts)
Preparation
    Put together as a cake.
    Bake in 2 greased and floured loaf pans at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour or until done.
    Very good spread with butter or cream cheese!
