Carp Patties - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. crushed cracker crumbs (Ritz type)
    1/4 c. chopped onion
    1 egg
    1 lb. carp, ground
    1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients and form into patties.
    Use 2 cups buttermilk and 1 1/2 cups self-rising flour.
    Mix together to make a batter.
    Dip in carp cakes and fry to golden brown.
