Lazy Man'S Beef Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. stew beef
    4 large carrots, cut lengthwise and cut into pieces
    1 can tomato soup
    1 bay leaf
    3 to 4 medium potatoes, quartered
    1 c. red cooking wine or water
    2 onions, sliced
    1 pkg. frozen peas
    1 c. fresh sauteed mushrooms or a 16 oz. can mushrooms, drained
Preparation
    Grease large casserole dish.
    Put into it beef, carrots, potatoes, tomato soup, bay leaf, onions and the wine or water. Cover and bake in 275\u00b0 oven for 4 hours.
    Remove from oven and stir (may need a little more water).
    Add frozen peas and the mushrooms.
    Cover again and cook 1 hour longer.
    Serves 6.
