Bacon And Water Chestnut Appetizer - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (8 oz.) can water chestnuts
    1 lb. bacon, cut in thirds
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. ketchup
Preparation
    Cut water chestnuts in 1/2.
    Wrap each with 1/3 strip of bacon. Serve with wooden toothpick.
    Bake in large shallow dish for 35 minutes at 350\u00b0.
    Drain all grease.
    Combine sugar and ketchup and pour over chestnuts and bacon.
    Bake for 30 to 45 minutes at 300\u00b0.
