Frosty Strawberry Squares - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. flour
1/4 c. brown sugar
2 egg whites
2 c. sliced strawberries
1/4 c. walnuts, chopped
1/2 c. butter or margarine
2 Tbsp. lemon juice
1 c. whipping cream
2/3 c. sugar

Preparation

Combine flour, brown sugar, walnuts and butter (with pastry blender). Spread mixture evenly in shallow baking pan. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Spread 2/3 of this crumb mixture in a 9 x 13-inch pan.
