Blushing Pickled Eggs - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 to 8 hard-boiled eggs, shelled
    3/4 c. pickled beet juice
    1/2 c. wine vinegar
    1/4 c. water
    1 bay leaf
    6 whole cloves
    3/4 tsp. salt
    1 clove garlic, crushed
Preparation
    Put eggs in a quart jar.
    Mix together beet juice, vinegar, bay leaf, cloves, salt and garlic.
    Heat, but do not boil.
    Add to eggs in jar.
    Store in refrigerator at least 24 hours.
