Banana Split Dessert - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. margarine, melted
    2 c. graham cracker crumbs
    2 c. sifted confectioners sugar
    1 (9 oz.) Cool Whip
    14 oz. jar maraschino cherries, drain and dice
    3/4 c. softened margarine
    1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple, well drained
    4 medium sliced bananas
    1/2 c. chopped pecans
    2 eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Combine melted margarine and graham cracker crumbs; pat into bottom of 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Chill until set so sugar, egg and butter mixture will
    spread
    better.
    Beat
    eggs
    on
    high speed until light.
    Add
    confectioners
    sugar,
    soft margarine and vanilla.
    Beat 5 minutes and spread over crumbs.
    Chill 30 minutes; spread pineapple over cream mixture.
    Arrange bananas over pineapple; cover
    with
    Cool
    Whip. Sprinkle with pecans. Cover and chill 6 hours.
    Garnish with cherries.
