Macaroni And Lentil Soup(Makrooni Rahwa) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. lentils
    1 1/2 c. elbow macaroni
    2 qts. water
    1/4 c. oil
    1 garlic clove, minced
    4 tsp black pepper
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 med. onion, chopped fine
    1/2 c. tomato paste
    2 c. water
Preparation
    Wash lentils.
    Cook Cover lentils with water and bring to a boil.
    Then cook for 15 mins.
    Saute onion and garlic in oil until browned.
    Add tomato paste, water and seasoning.
    Blend well and bring to a boil.
    When lentils are soft, add tomato sauce mixture and macaroni.
    Bring to a boil.
