Sangria For A Crowd - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 gal. water
    2 c. sugar
    6 oranges, peeled and sliced
    4 lemons, sliced
    2 gal. red wine
Preparation
    In a large kettle, combine water and sugar; heat until dissolved.
    Add sliced fruits.
    Let stand at room temperature at least 4 hours.
