Mashed Turnips - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 medium yellow turnips
    pinch of sugar
    butter or margarine
    salt
    pepper
    cream
Preparation
    Wash, pare and cut turnips into pieces.
    Cook turnips in boiling salted water until fork-tender; drain well.
    Mash turnips or put through a ricer.
    Add sugar and a large pat of butter. Season to taste with salt and pepper and add a little cream.
    Beat until turnips are smooth.
