Best Ever Biscuits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. flour
    4 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
    2 tsp. sugar
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. shortening
    2/3 c. milk
    1 egg
Preparation
    Sift dry ingredients together.
    Blend in the shortening, milk and egg.
    Stir to stiff dough.
    Knead and roll to 1/2-inch thickness.
    Cut into biscuits and bake 10 to 15 minutes in 450\u00b0 oven.
