Pecan Pie Bars - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (18 1/2 oz.) pkg. yellow cake mix
    1/2 c. margarine
    1 1/2 c. dark corn syrup
    1 egg
    1 c. pecans, chopped
    1/2 c. packed brown sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    3 eggs
Preparation
    Generously grease bottom and sides of a 13 x 9-inch baking pan.
    Reserve 1/2 cup dry cake mix for filling.
    In a large mixing bowl, combine remaining dry cake mix, margarine and 1 egg; mix until crumbly.
    Press into prepared pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 15 to 20 minutes, until light golden brown.
