Original Chip Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. flour
    1 tsp. salt
    3/4 c. brown sugar, firmly packed
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 eggs
    1 (12 oz.) pkg. chocolate semi-sweet chips
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 c. margarine or butter, softened
    3/4 c. white sugar
    1/2 tsp. water
    1 c. chopped pecans
Preparation
    Mix flour with baking powder and salt.
    Beat butter in mixer bowl until smooth.
    Beat in sugars, vanilla, water and eggs until light and fluffy.
    Blend in flour mixture.
    Stir in nuts and chips.
    Drop from teaspoon, 2 inches apart, onto ungreased cookie sheets.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 8 to 10 minutes or until golden brown. Makes about 8 dozen.
