Coconut Cream Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3/4 c. sugar
1/3 c. all-purpose flour or 3 Tbsp. cornstarch
1/4 tsp. salt
1 c. flaked coconut
4 Tbsp. butter
2 c. milk
3 slightly beaten egg yolks
1 tsp. vanilla
1 (9-inch) baked pie shell
Preparation

Mix all ingredients except butter, vanilla and coconut.
Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until mixture thickens. (Alternate method:
Microwave for 6 minutes, stirring every 2 minutes.)
Remove from heat and add butter, vanilla and coconut. Pour mixture into cooled pie shell.
Top with your favorite topping.
