Trade Winds Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. (8 oz.) shell macaroni
2 Tbsp. butter
1/4 c. brown sugar
1 c. cooked, cubed chicken, turkey or ham
1 1/2 c. pineapple chunks
1/2 c. grapes or chopped apple
1 c. cubed Cheddar cheese
1/4 c. mayonnaise
1/4 c. sour cream
1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation

Melt butter and brown sugar in medium saucepan.
Add chicken, turkey or ham and cook until browned.
Cool.
Combine cooked shells, meat mixture, grapes or apples and cheese in a large bowl. Drain pineapple, reserving 2 tablespoons of juice.
Add mayonnaise, sour cream, pineapple and juice and salt.
Blend well. Chill.
Makes 6 servings.
