My Mom'S Raisin Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. sugar
1/2 c. butter
2 well beaten egg yolks
1 c. steamed raisins
1/2 c. nuts
2 egg whites
Preparation

Cream sugar and butter.
Add egg yolks, steamed raisins and nuts.
Beat egg whites stiff and fold into mixture very lightly. Pour filling into unbaked pastry shell and bake slowly for 45 minutes.
It forms its own crust.
Yields 9-inch pie.
