Make-Ahead Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    12 large potatoes
    8 oz. cream cheese
    8 oz. sour cream
    1 tsp. onion flakes
    1/4 tsp. or less garlic salt
    1/4 c. butter (optional)
    1/2 c. grated cheese (optional)
Preparation
    Peel and cook potatoes in salted water; drain.
    Combine all, except butter and cheese, while still hot; whip or mash until fluffy.
    Spread in large casserole or divide into 2 casseroles (buttered).
    Refrigerate or freeze until ready to use.
