Sliced Fruit Bars - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. flour
3/4 c. sugar
1 tsp. baking powder
1 stick oleo, softened
1/2 c. candied cherries, chopped
1/2 c. candied pineapple, chopped
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Mix flour, sugar and baking powder, then add softened oleo and mix well with cherries, pineapple, eggs and vanilla.
Work dough until easy to work with.
Then divide dough and roll into ropes. Place on cookie sheets.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 15 to 20 minutes.
When done, cool slightly and cut about 1-inch apart diagonally.
You could frost them before cutting or use powdered sugar.
