Apple Mallow Yam-Yums - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 large red apples, sliced (do not peel)
    1/2 c. chopped nuts
    1/2 c. brown sugar, packed
    1/2 to 1 tsp. cinnamon
    dash of nutmeg
    2 (7 oz.) cans yams, drained (cut if in large pieces)
    1/4 c. margarine
    2 c. miniature marshmallows
Preparation
    In a large bowl, toss apples,
    nuts, sugar and spices.
    In a casserole, alternate layers of yams and apples.
    Dot with margarine and cover.
    Bake 35 to 40 minutes.
    Sprinkle with marshmallows; broil until brown.
