Ingredients

3 c. flour
2 c. sugar
3/4 c. cocoa or to suit your taste
2 rounded tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. vanilla
1 c. cooking oil
2 c. cold water

Preparation

Mix ingredients.
Pour into a prepared 9 x 13-inch pan.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 60 minutes.
(Add 1 egg for a shiny top.)
