Butterscotch Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. low-fat diet margarine
    8 tsp. granulated brown sugar substitute
    2 eggs
    1 1/2 c. flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. vanilla extract
    1/2 c. walnuts, chopped
Preparation
    Melt margarine and sweetener together until smooth.
    Cool to lukewarm.
    Add eggs and beat well.
    Add flour, baking powder, vanilla and walnuts.
    Spread in greased 13 x 9-inch pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 35 minutes.
    Sprinkle with nonsugar substitute. Cool and cut into squares.
    Yields:
    70 squares.
    Carbohydrate 2.4 g, protein .5 g, fat .9 g, calories 25.
    One square = 1/2 fat exchange.
