Pioneer Johnnycake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 eggs
    2 c. buttermilk
    2 Tbsp. molasses or honey
    2 c. cornmeal
    1/2 c. flour
    1 tsp. soda
    2 Tbsp. butter
Preparation
    Beat
    eggs until light.
    Add buttermilk and molasses or honey. Combine
    dry
    ingredients
    and
    stir into batter along with melted butter.
    Pour into buttered dripper pan to bake at 425\u00b0 for about
    20
    minutes
    or
    until
    done.
    Cut into large squares to serve.
    Makes 24 pieces.
