Pork Chops Sweet And Sour - cooking recipe

1 tsp. ginger
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
1 tsp. paprika
1/4 c. flour
6 thick pork chops
1 Tbsp. shortening
1 c. pineapple juice
2 Tbsp. vinegar
3 Tbsp. brown sugar
Preparation

In a paper bag, mix the first 5 ingredients.
Shake chops in this mixture.
Brown chops in melted shortening in a frying pan. Cover with pineapple juice, mixed with vinegar.
Sprinkle with brown sugar.
Cover; cook over low heat until chops are fork-tender, about 40 minutes.
