Pear Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. butter, creamed
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. soda
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. vanilla
1/8 tsp. nutmeg
1/4 c. buttermilk
1 c. coarsely chopped pears
Preparation

Cream butter; beat in sugar.
Add eggs, one at a time.
Mix dry ingredients together and add alternately with buttermilk. Stir in vanilla and pears.
