German Apple Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 large apples, pared and sliced
    5 Tbsp. sugar
    2 tsp. cinnamon
    3 c. flour
    2 c. sugar
    1 c. oil
    4 eggs
    1/4 c. orange juice
    2 1/2 tsp. vanilla
    3 tsp. baking powder
Preparation
    In small bowl, mix 5 tablespoons sugar and cinnamon together. In large bowl, mix all other ingredients, except apples.
    Batter will be thick.
    Grease tube pan.
    Cover bottom of pan with batter. Add a layer of apples; sprinkle with sugar-cinnamon mixture. Repeat this twice more.
    (There will be 3 layers of apples.)
    End with a thin layer of batter.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 1/2 hours.
