Moma'S Pound Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 2/3 c. sugar
1/2 lb. butter
1 Tbsp. Crisco
5 eggs
3 c. plain flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Cream together sugar, butter and Crisco.
Add eggs, one at a time,
mixing
well after each one; sift dry ingredients together 3
times.
Add
to egg mixture alternately with milk. Mix well after
each
addition.
Add vanilla.
Bake in a tube pan in oven preheated
to 325\u00b0 for 1 hour or until it springs back when touched.
