Broccoli Soup - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 Tbsp. margarine
1 small onion
3 Tbsp. flour
1 can evaporated milk
3 c. chicken broth
mushrooms as desired
1 c. Cheddar cheese
1 bunch broccoli
Preparation

Melt margarine in heavy saucepan and add onion and stir in flour to make thick paste.
Add evaporated milk, chicken broth and salt to taste.
Chop broccoli and add to liquid.
Cover and simmer until broccoli is tender.
Add mushrooms and cheese.
Cook an additional 10 minutes.
